Decision caps a year's worth of work.
Unrelenting rain and gridlocked traffic may have limited attendance at the Planning Commission’s Tuesday evening, November 19, review of the the city's proposed 2024 Comprehensive Plan — our Bessemer Gameplan — but it didn’t dampen the Commission’s enthusiasm for the document and its many prescriptions for once again making Bessemer a championship city.
It was adopted unanimously.
This adoption is the primary action to be taken although the City Council will consider providing their endorsement of the Commission’s action in a subsequent meeting. This meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 17, in their regularly scheduled meeting. Feel free to join us.
